Excess waste is a given when you have a holiday that glorifies the cheap plastic garbage people litter their lawns with, the abundance of individually wrapped candy bars and the uptick in energy usage for powering animated skeletons, jack-o-lantern lights and the aforementioned lawn ornament garbage.
