Denison Witmer has long been known for his skill at taking other people’s songs and recasting them. In fact, he released an entire album several years ago devoted to just that.
My Old Kentucky Blog has three covers he’s done recently of Oasis, Red House Painters and Bonnie Raitt. The Oasis song, “Champaign Supernova,” is also available on Denison’s MySpace site.
Denison is releasing the latest collection of his own songs, Carry The Weight, on Nov. 11. The first single was made available for download on iTunes last week.
