I missed the buzz about Telekinesis when the album Dormarion came out last April but fortunately it showed up on some year-end lists and I discovered what’s become one of my favorite releases from 2013. The band is fronted by Merge Records artist Michael Benjamin Lerner and is a power pop gem of a record I haven’t been able to stop listening to of late. “Power Lines” is the opening track on the record.
