75 Years of March Madness

It may seem like an odd time of year to be talking about March Madness, considering the college basketball season just started, but NCAA has just unveiled an impressive interactive timeline that’s sure to suck up some time for avid college basketball fans. The timeline features the results of each year’s championship game, detailed information about the teams and the most outstanding player, historic and cultural events and in some cases video.

Oddly enough, the Keith Smart shot to beat Syracuse in the 1987 title game and the pass/shot and dunk to complete the unlikely title win for NC State in 1983 didn’t get videos, but it’s still worth checking out if, like me, you consider March Madness the greatest spectacle in American sports.
